Kimball Farms Life Care is hosting Memories in the Making, a FREE 10-week program created by The Alzheimer’s Association for caregivers and individuals with dementia.
Caregivers will participate in meaningful discussion led by Jackie Tripicco, LCSW, Community Social Worker at Kimball Farms Life Care, while their loved ones enjoy a guided painting class with trained facilitator Sharon Lazerson. Prior painting experience is not required, all skill levels are welcome to attend. Through art and thoughtful discourse, this program strives to promote self-esteem and provide an emotional outlet and a new avenue of communication for both caregivers and their loved ones with dementia.
Pre-registration for all 10 sessions is required. Both the caregiver and individual with dementia must attend together.
