Daily Living
Comforting familiarity of three home-cooked meals plus snacks every day and a full calendar of programming. Activities encourage engagement and connection with a focus on maintaining gross motor skills, social interaction, self-care, and sensory and memory enhancement.

Maintenance
Personal laundry plus weekly housekeeping and linen service, maintenance, and grounds keeping.
Transportation
Friendly transportation team for community outings and activities and local, scheduled medical appointments.
Utilities
Monthly fee includes basic cable TV access and all utilities (except personal phone and internet services).
Safety and Security
Staff on-site around the clock and 24-hour personal emergency response systems.
Health and Wellness
Our licensed Community Nurse is available for routine health monitoring including blood pressure checks and medication oversight.
Escort to Appointments
Resident Care Partners can provide escort to medical appointments if family is unavailable.
All-Inclusive Memory Care
Kimball Farms offers the area’s only all-inclusive memory care program. This unique approach to assisted living memory care means residents receive the personal assistance with activities of daily living whenever they need it without additional expenses for levels of care.
Resident Care Assistants meet residents within their reality, providing supportive assistance and a life of dignity and respect. Enhanced activities are available throughout the day and in the evening to meet personal habits and preferences.
Embracing Their Reality
Our memory care program is based on the habilitation model developed jointly by Dr. Paul Raia of the Alzheimer’s Association and Joanne Koenig Coste, Alzheimer’s advocate and author.
The habilitation approach provides a framework for understanding, communicating, and interacting with people who have dementia, joining them within their reality for more positive experiences. Programming focuses on the skills and abilities that remain for a failure-free environment where residents can succeed and feel good about themselves.
When Memory Care Needs Progress
At PineHill Assisted Living, our Life Enrichment Memory Care Program (LEP) is designed for those benefiting from assisted living. When care needs progress, residents may transition to our Life Enrichment certified memory care at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center. Our secure unit there mirrors the environment at PineHill to minimize confusion.
