What is Life Care?
Life Care is a unique, proactive approach to retirement living, combining housing, recreational and social opportunities, and long-term assistance with your needs as you age. The primary focus is on active, independent living, providing confidence that long-term care will be available when needed, for much less than if one entered those settings directly.
Kimball Farms Continuing Care Retirement Community
Kimball Farms Life Care is part of our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), providing different levels of housing and support within one community. CCRCs allow older adults to age close to loved ones who may have different care needs.
Long-Term Lifestyle Approach to Health Care Planning
Our continuum of housing and health care options—including independent living, traditional assisted living, assisted living with life enriching memory care, and skilled nursing—means that the appropriate level of extra care is here when you need it, for as long as you need it.
Financial Advantages of Life Care Retirement Living
The Life Care model allows for financial planning and protection while anticipating long-term needs. At Kimball Farms, the monthly fee stays relatively the same throughout the continuum when/if you need additional levels of care. Also, a portion of the monthly service fees may be eligible for tax deductions as prepaid medical expenses. The monthly fee includes daily meals, weekly light housekeeping and linen service, utilities, nursing advice, activities and care, if needed.
