What is the Difference Between Life Care at Kimball Farms and Traditional CCRCs?

Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), including Kimball Farms, charge a monthly fee and entrance fee for a full continuum of care. CCRCs are designed to move residents from independent living to assisted living, memory care, and/or skilled nursing as their care needs change.

Life Care at Kimball Farms sets itself apart from other CCRC by offering a monthly fee that remains relatively the same when or if you need additional levels of care. Traditional CCRCs increase their monthly costs as care needs increase–Life Care as Kimball Farms does not.

A+ Fitch Credit Rating

An A+ rating is determined by liquidity position, and excellent demand and operating indicators, maintaining a leading market position and quality reputation. Despite the last few years of uncertainty with COVID-19, Kimball Farms’ strong history of cost management, insured a continuous safe investment for our Life Care residents.

CARF Accredited

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) issued a consecutive five‐year accreditation to Kimball Farms for ongoing dedication and commitment to our continuum of care. This achievement is an representation of the ongoing dedication and commitment our staff and leaders put forth to improve our residents’ quality of the lives through our continuum of care. A CARF accreditation demonstrates a pattern of incredibly high standards and continuous quality improvement in relation to services, staff, and documentation.
